The royal family gathered at Windsor Castle for their traditional Christmas lunch, hosted by King Charles III.
The attendees included King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall, Princess Eugenie, Prince Andrew, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Lady Louise, Peter Phillips with his daughters Savannah and Isla, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Princess Margaret’s daughter Lady Sarah Chatto, royal family friend Penny Knatchbull, and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who is married to Princess Beatrice.
However, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children were not seen or pictured at the event. This is likely because they live in Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate.
The absence of William and Kate from the photographs has sparked reactions from fans, with some speculating that the couple may have missed the event to avoid making Prince Harry feel alone.
It is noted that the Prince and Princess of Wales are regular attendees at the holiday event, along with their children. The Christmas lunch was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but was put on again last year.
It's also noteworthy that Prince Harry, Meghan, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, were reportedly not invited to join the royal family at their traditional Christmas lunch.
Despite dozens of other royals attending the festive feast, the absence of Harry and Meghan from the event has drawn attention.
