The royal family expresses their respect for all those who continue to be with us.

Buckingham Palace has posted a significant update about the recent royal event, which was hosted by Princess Anne and Princess Sophie on behalf of King Charles III on Tuesday. The royal family's social media accounts have shared photos from the event, commemorating 70 years since the signing of the armistice that brought an end to the conflict.

The Palace hosted a reception to honor the anniversary of the "Forgotten War," which was hosted by Princess Royal and The Duchess of Edinburgh.
The palace shared a photo from the event with a message: "We pay tribute to all those who are still with us, and express our deepest gratitude for those who have passed. Your dedication and sacrifice will be remembered for generations to come."
"Earlier today, The Princess Royal delivered a message from The King at a reception attended by 200 Korean War veterans from all over the UK."

During the momentous occasion, Princess Anne, the only sister of King Charles III, also gave a speech representing the monarch, reflecting on what is often referred to as "the Forgotten War." She expressed her joy at the attendance of many at the delayed reception to commemorate seventy years since the end of the Korean War.

Princess Anne stated, "It has been a personal goal of mine to extend an invitation, in some capacity, to Buckingham Palace to acknowledge this important milestone and ensure that all of you are duly recognized for your courageous service over seven decades ago."

"In a world where freedoms are constantly under threat and our values questioned, your selfless bravery and unwavering commitment to peace are guiding principles that have not been overlooked and continue to inspire future generations."
